Artist's Description
In the west desert of Utah live a group of wild horses. These horses live a far different lifestyle than their domestic counterparts. They are wild and free and every day they face the harsh conditions of the desert, they battle for position in the herd, and they live a social structure that is fascinating to witness. Unfortunately as of July 14, 2021 these majestic animals are being rounded up, adopted, moved to new locations, or killed. Only a small number will remain. These are the Onaqui horses of Utah
